Peer Training Courses
If you need to bring your computer skills up to speed, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers inexpensive ($10) non-credit classes throughout the summer and the academic year. You will need an active university email account to take courses.
» OIT Peer Training Courses website

All Peer Training classes are basic introductions to a skill. Each syllabus is designed to teach approximately 15 to 20 students in a three hour period of time. If less than 15 students attend a class, that class will probably not take the scheduled 3 hour period of time. The trainers are qualified to teach the class that is scheduled, however, questions outside of the syllabus that are more advanced in nature will need to be forwarded on to cwpost@umd.edu for a response.
