The University of Maryland's ACT (Academic Computers for Terps) Program allows registered students, faculty, and staff to purchase customized Apple and Dell computers at prices below standard discounts, as well as receive substantial added benefits in technical support and warranty protection.

Save money on a new computer and software by purchasing it through the University Book Center. You will be able to access educational discounts for Dell, Gateway, and Apple computers.

Low Cost Microsoft Software for GA's Who Work at Home
The Microsoft "Work at Home" policy provides an opportunity for graduate students with assistantships to install an additional copy of selected Microsoft software products on their home computer or portable PC for the duration of their employment with the University. Eligible Software products include Microsoft Office 2000 Premium, Microsoft Works, Publisher, Front Page, Visual Studio Professional, or any of their component products, regardless of version. Please note that Operating System products are NOT eligible for Work at Home use. For more information see below links:
