Located in the Stamp Student Union, the Hoff Theater is the campus movie venue. Equipped with 550 plush seats, Dolby digital surround, and a full concession stand, the Hoff shows sneak previews, films before they hit video and other popular movies. Prices are $3 for current Maryland students, faculty, staff, alumni, senior citizens, and children under 13 ($2.50 for matinee) and $5.50 for the general public.

Need a temporary place to stay and don't want to spend a lot of money?  Check out the on-campus emergency housing and off-campus temporary housing options available to incoming graduate students.  Two graduate student organizations, the Student Council of India and the Chinese Graduate Student Association arrange some temporary housing via their web sites.
