Contact Off-Campus Housing Services at 301.314.3645 or och@umd.edu with a contact name, phone number, and rental property address. OCH will contact PGPD daily with requests received. PGPD will then schedule your security consultation.
If you have any information regarding the recent assaults near campus, you are asked to call 1-866-411-TIPS. All tips remain anonymous.
Report any suspicious activity near or around your off-campus residence to the Prince George′s County Police Department at 1-866-411-TIPS.
In general, if you are concerned about safety, contact the UM Police Department (911 for emergencies; 301.405.3555 for non-emergencies).
Congratulations to the recipient of the 2008 Michelle Y. Angyelof Award for Outstanding Service to Off-Campus Students, Annika Betancourt! Annika Betancourt is a senior Government and Politics major serving as the co-chair of the SGA Commuter Affairs Committee. She is in her second term as an Outlying Commuter legislator, and her achievements include securing funding for off-campus student outreach programs, organizing the O.N.E.UMD leadership conference, and assisting with the planning and implementation of Off-Campus Student Appreciation Week. According to one of several people who nominated Ms. Betancourt for this award, Annika has spearheaded efforts that "support off-campus students and promote unity on campus."

Our students assisted in the creation of a youth and community garden in the Riverdale community. Stay tuned for the Local ASB 2008--we would love to see you in next year's pictures!

Good Morning CommutersCome join us for free breakfast and campus resources from 7:30-10am the first Wednesday of every month in the Terpzone, basement level of the Stamp. We welcome our off-campus/commuter students to come and relax, enjoy something to eat, and find out about involvement opportunities. Featuring campus departments, commuter student legislators, the Off-Campus Student Programming Board, and Off-Campus Student Involvement. Sponsored by the Stamp.

This is a student-run initiative designed to meet the needs of our 14,000+ undergraduate and 9000+ graduate off-campus students. The Board was integral in Off-Campus Student Appreciation Week and the Good Morning Commuters Free breakfasts each month. Upcoming projects include summer orientations for off-campus students, a transfer overnight stay in July, and New Student Welcome in August!
