Multiversity Intergroup Dialogue/Words of Engagement Program African American Male Achievement Program Multiversity Intergroup Dialogue/Words of Engagmenet Program Dear student: We are inviting you and your organization to participate in an exciting multi-university national research project (a.k.a. Multiversity) on intergroup dialogues and simultaneously earn two (2) credits or incentives. Briefly, Intergroup Dialogue is a face to face meeting between two social identity groups with a history of or potential for conflict. These groups come together for one to two hours a week and have very honest and open conversations that support personal growth and development and allow for greater awareness among members. The dialogues are facilitated by well-trained and skilled facilitators. In partnership with nine other universities, two of our Words of Engagement (WE) dialogues are part of the Multiversity national research project: Men/Women and People of Color/White People. Also, we are adding an Intra-Asian dialogue this upcoming Fall semester. As Asian student/organization on campus, we would like you and/or several of your members to join our Intra-Asian dialogue so that we can have meaningful interactions within our Asian community on or off campus.
