Rebecca Sawyer
Rebecca Sawyer is the Graduate Coordinator for Asian Pacific American Student Involvement and Advocacy. She previously worked for Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, a nonprofit organization working to repeal the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” ban on openly lesbian, gay and bisexual service members. She has also volunteered extensively with Asian Pacific American community organizations in the DC area. She holds a BA in English and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, and is currently a first-year MBA student at the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
