The
University of Maryland's Foundation for the Future "A Vision for Greek Life" |
|

In
the early 1990's, the University began to look at ways in which
fraternity and sorority chapters could enhance the types of programming
offered to members. After drawing input from students, campus faculty
and staff, as well as fraternity and sorority professionals from
across the nation, the University proposed implementation of a program
centered on the concept of helping chapters return to the values
upon which they were founded. Implemented in 1995, the Foundation
for the Future document charted a new path for Greek
students at the University of Maryland. Since its inception, vast
improvements in areas such as academics and programming have assisted
our Greek community in reaching new heights. Further information on the "Vision" can be obtained through from the OFSL or through the links below. |
